A different version of this song (recorded on Alto Chapman Stick) appeared on my "Morn's landing" album. I was never really happy with the result, and felt that this album would represent a new recording of the piece better. I've started performing it live now. It's pretty much about the delay effect, just played in one take.

One of my favorite Jeff Pearce albums, I bought this on CD when it was released, but it's nice to have as a download to listen to on my phone, as well. I love the way Snowfall rocks out, definitely a different direction for Jeff, but done very tastefully. I know that Jeff is influenced by the woods and open sky where he lives - I too live in a rural area, and I feel like his music really reflects that.
